Description:

The Individual Project for the Global Value Chain Management course consists of an analysis of a real world Global Supply Chain issue.

Choose an international supply chain story from any major paper or digital media source. Stories should have an easily identifiable problem/issue with relating to a company(ies) supply chain.

The written report must include:

- A link to the original media source that is the bases for the project.

- A description of the company, size, markets, products, markets, financial strength

- A summary fo the story/situation and a description of the supply chain problem which could include planning, sourcing, distribution, manufacturing, inventory, transportation, warehousing, IT, warranty, customers, risks or use of intermediaries.

- The impact on the organization of the problem on customers, sales, and finances

- Options for possible solutions including the pros and cons of each option.

- Your recommended solution and support for that decision.
