A certain parallel plate capacitor has circular plate of radius R = 10.0 cm. At some time t, while the capacitor is being charged, a current of 3.0 A is found to be flowing into the positive plate of the capacitor. In the figure, a cross section of the capacitor gap is shown. The positive plate of the capacitor is below the plane of the page, and the negative plate is above the plane
of the page. All questions are for the given time t.

(a) What is the rate at which the electric field between the plates is changing?

(b) What is the displacement current through a circular Ampere-Maxwell loop which is centered on the centerline of the capacitor and passes through point P, which is 5.0 cm from the centerline?
