The Scheneiderman book does not recommend using anthropomorphic user interface except for some special cases primarily because attributions of intelligence, autonomy, free will, etc can deceive, confuse, and mislead users. Due to the recent progress in the area of artificial intelligence and now that there is a stronger possibility that computers may actually be equipped with enhanced intelligence, do you expect an increased use of anthropomorphic user interface? Why or why not?
