Increased usage of the internet has caused a decrease in usage of traditional media like TV, radio and print. How will this affect the future of these traditional vehicles? Will they survive? What changes do you see?

We see incredible reach opportunities with social media like Face book, Twitter and blogs. During the last year, governments have been overthrown, fast-food restaurant protests have occurred and celebrities have fallen from grace as a result of a simple Face book or Twitter post. Give one example of a story that has moved you/surprised you/upset you this past year that was generated by social media.

The internet "imploded" in the early 2000s and the "bubble" burst. Most of the failure can be traced to poor business ideas and inexperienced managers whose main objective was to see how quickly they could run through venture capitalist cash. Based on your own experiences provide one example (one pre-bubble or one post-bubble) of a web-based business that survived/thrived during both periods and why you think their business model works.
