An object is initially traveling at 9 m/s in the negative x direction and a constant acceleration applied to the object.  After 2.4 seconds, the object is traveling at 7.4 m/s in the positive x direction.  What is the acceleration of the object in m/s2?  If the answer is in the negative x direction, include a negative sign, but do not include a positive sign for the positive x direction.

and also can you tell me what constant acceleration equation you used and how you got the answer? thank you
