Coastal hazards for hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones are well documented.

People choose to live in flood plains, in forests, and in regions with frequent tornados. What are some factors that may contribute to population growth in dangerous areas? Provide examples that illustrate population growth in danger zones and the consequences.
