If you were Alena, what would you do to manage your time effectively so that you will be able to cope with your hectic schedule and study well at the same time? Discuss in about 600 words.
We have learned in Unit 4 of our course material that there are three (3) approaches to managing stress. As Alena, which two (2) approaches will you use to reduce your stress? Explain how you will do it in about 600 words.
• Action-oriented: In which we seek to confront the problem causing the stress, changing the environment or the situation.
• Emotionally-oriented: In which we do not have the power to change the situation, but we can manage stress by changing our interpretation of the situation and the way we feel about it.
• Acceptance-oriented: Where something has happened over which we have no power and no emotional control, and where our focus is on surviving the stress.
