In today's consumer-oriented society, many people in the United States have borrowed heavily to buy cars, houses, furniture, clothes, vacation trips, and more. Other people are deep in debt through unfortunate circumstances, such as loss of job and huge medical expenses. It is not uncommon to hear of people who have several credit cards that are "maxed out" and are losing their homes to foreclosure. Some people are filing bankruptcy. Do you think that people obtain credit too easily? Who is at fault, the borrower or the creditor who extends the easy credit?
