In an ammonia refrigeration plant, 2 kg/min of ammonia enters the compressor at 1.902 bar and 0.96 dry and is compressed to dry saturated vapour at 8.57 bar. The vapour then passes through the condenser leaving as saturated liquid.

Calculate the:

i. condenser heat energy transfer in kJ/min;

ii. refrigerating effect in kJ/min; and

iii. volumetric flow rate of ammonia entering the compressor in m3/min
