Position summary:
In accordance with Interface values, the Client Development Executive will manage the Global and Strategic Account sales process across the [Americas/EMEA/APAC] geographic region for an identified set of client accounts. The role is focused on developing and managing a pipeline of new or emerging accounts and contributing significantly to the customer experience of current large-scale corporate end use customers. The Client Development Executive will also work closely with their regional sales manager/director to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the large-scale end use sales process overall.
The role is part of, and contributes to, a global Client Development Team led by a Client Development Manager based in the Americas, collaborating closely to provide a globally consistent experience to the Global and Strategic account base.
Essential duties:
Manage activity within a defined portfolio of ‘Development Accounts' with the aim of achieving a defined status for consideration as a potential ‘Target Account'
Participate in account teams created to secure Target Accounts
Manage routine activity and contact with smaller scale Active Accounts, escalating to the Account Manager as needed.
Support activity by the Global Account Management (GAM) team around specific large scale Active Accounts, as required, on a project basis
Prepare and participate in quarterly reviews with the client
Lead the preparation and production of proposals during contract responses and negotiations;
Manage quality, and provide guidance and corrective actions to others, on the creation and preparation of proposal material to optimize success and providing critical backup as needed
Work with internal resources to ensure contracts and proposals are compliant with legal and company policies while meeting customer deadlines for submission and periodic reporting requirements
Perform both regular and strategic analysis of customer accounts, providing management and account managers with information, insights and appropriate reporting.
Monitor and report on key developments with the targeted customer ecosystem, providing management and account managers with information, insights and appropriate reporting.
Establish strong long term partnerships by developing business strategies with internal and external customers to support contract excellence and continuation of business relationships.
Contribute on a project basis to the success of customer facing events and activities
Establish and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent communication
Provide a central communication point for all internal and external team members
Manage the Global and Strategic Accounts element of the company's CRM system within the region, working with team members and database managers to maintain data integrity and analysis.
Support sales management in monitoring and maintaining consistency of operation within the company's Sales System.

Qualification:
Skills and experience:
Minimum 4 years proven successful experience of contribution to the success of a sales or business development team.
Experience in working and collaborating across multiple functions and cultures in a fast moving and complex business environment
Experience working with large scale customers, ideally with a multi-national footprints and operations
Proficiency across the full MS Office Suite with aptitude to learn new tools as required
Experience with a major CRM System to at least Super-user level
Numerate, with the ability to present data across a spectrum from detail through to dashboards
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent rapport with clients and fellow associates
Language Requirement:
English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly adept at working with associates and others using English as a second language.
Additional language skills are highly desirable but not essential
Educational requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Foreign Degree Equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
