In a two dimensional flow over a solid plate, the x component of the velocity varies linearly from zero at the plate surface to 2 m's at y = 5 cm. The y component of velocity is zero everywhere i.e. it is a parallel flow over a flat plate. Obtain an expression for the stream function and discuss whether the flow is rotational or irrigational.
