Question: PPACA is Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. It was signed into law in 2010 by President Obama and previously called Obamacare. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act expands health insurance coverage, improves the quality and coordination of care, and lowers health care cost. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is a legislation that was put into place to make health care accessible.
