By including educational activities and accomplishments into one's portfolio can show a potential employer that a nurse can accomplish desired goals and exceed expectations as well as complete daily duties. Nursing is a field in which education is ongoing both in the healthcare system, and the community (Oldland et al., 2020). Showing that a nurse has the potential to exceed in their desired field and offer safe effective quality care can improve our likelihood of being chosen by a new employer.
