You are to choose a topic you feel is important to the promotion of health of individuals, families, groups or societies. You should choose a(n) topic/issue you feel passionate about, one you feel is not currently being addressed properly, or you feel lacks appropriate funding. You will search the literature already published (on ProQuest) on the topic/issue. You will find a gap in research or information about the topic and a letter to a MLA providing your idea for how the government could better address the issue. (Examples might include: more research, better funding, and higher government priority) Your idea should have the outcome of potentially improving health or preventing disease among your chosen population. Your paper will include the following: A literature review of the research and knowledge currently available on your topic (written as a summary of at least 7 research articles), also identifying the current gap in knowledge or service around the issue. A letter written to your MLA explaining the issue, your ideas for addressing the issue and how the promotion of health for your targeted group could be improved with better government involvement

Provide acedemic references between year 2018 to 2023. The articles needs to be related to BC Canada.
