Information systems will fundamentally change the ways in which healthcare organizations are structured.

As a group you are to discuss the role of information systems in achieving excellence in healthcare service. In doing so, consider the advantages and disadvantages of advance information systems for the types of healthcare organizations listed below and list two advantages and disadvantages for each of them. 1. Large urban community hospitals. 2. Small rural hospitals. 3. Free clinics based in poor urban communities. 3 to 4 Paragraphs.

For this unit's assignment you are to complete the following portions of your strategic plan: 1.Create and define a capacity utilization plan, linking action plans to information systems, service delivery, and balancing capacity and demand. In particular, identify the types of information services necessary for excellence in service. Remember that you will also be creating a marketing plan which will likely require information technology and that you are also responsible for fiscal management. 2. Identify how your action plans are linked to the organizational vision and mission and the service strategy.
