As the saying goes, "The three most important factors in real estate are location, location, and location."

This was typically applied to residential and retail real estate. However, the retail market has changed dramatically over the last two decades. Technology, especially the internet, has transformed the retail landscape.

Based on your own personal experiences, do you feel that location is as important to retailers as it used to be? If yes, then why? Will this trend continue? Are there some retailers that are more susceptible to this change than others? Which ones and why?
