Keeping in mind that descendant members do not have access to a college class like this and don't get to learn about their own history, for this report, you are to reflect on what you have learned about the civilization that flourished in ancient Mesoamerica and further research that aspect/aspects to contextualize your understanding of the lives and realities that thrived prior to invasion. E.g., Cultures that influenced Mesoamerica societies, the role of maize and/or Agricultural systems, religious ideas, key features and/or evolvement of a selected Mesoamerica civilization, understanding of gender roles in specific Mesoamerica communities, understanding of leadership, understanding of warrior and/or diplomatic societies, etc.

2. Within your learned context, you are then to embody a member of an ancient Mesoamerica civilization (Maya, Mixtec, Zapotec, Mexica) and share about your life and the world you give life to your descendants. If you decide to embody a being that lived during the life of the Spanish invasion. Share what you witness during what later becomes narrated as your discovery and the conquest of uncivilized savages. Select who you will embody, a child, a woman, a man, a bride, a mother, a warrior, a commoner, a nobleman, a priest, a muxe, a non-binary being, a conquered slave, a Zapotec priest, a Ñuu Savi diplomat or female warrior, K'inich Janaab' Pakal, Moctezuma, Muwaan Mat, Lady Yohl Ik'nal of Palenque, Tlacaélel, Lady Evening star of Yazchilan, the Lady of Tikal, Lady Six Sky, Lady Six Monkey, Eight Deer Jaguar Claw, Malintzin, etc.

3. As the selected being you leave a record of the knowledge and importance of your lived world to your future descendants. Record of a world and realities you may fear will be forgotten as your empire has entered a war with another empire, or have decided to migrate, or because you are living in the time of Spanish invasion and you have begun to see destruction and death with the presence of the arrived white men. If so, share who these men who you had never seen before are. Are they gods? Think of what is going through your mind as an embodied ancient Mesoamerica being and share it with your descendants.

4. Make an imaginary letter to your descendants as an ancient Mesoamerican being from the Maya, Zapotec, Mixtec, or "Mexica civilization." Note who you are and to who you are writing to, a child, a man, youth, women, or an elder. Include a reflection paragraph that unpacks the information you selected to share and why. Think about its importance, why it's important to discuss or share.
