Although poor health can cause or increase poverty, there is also a good deal of empirical evidence that links poverty with lower subsequent health. Identify and discuss four to five factors that serve as mechanisms by which poverty causes poorer health outcomes. Be sure you discuss why these factors mediate the link between poverty and poor health.
