'The importance of recruitment and selection in business and organisations is arguably the easiest concept to grasp in the practice of HRM' (Hinton, Woods and Zibarras, 2020, p. 199). The selection process of any organisation may be divided into three stages: early-, mid- and late-stage (Hinton, Woods and Zibarras, 2020). Critically analyse common assessment techniques in the early-stage of the selection process. During the late-stage, the most popular method of assessment is the interview. Discuss how organisations could improve candidates' job interview experience.
