Families should be viewed as collaborative partners in children's care and education. Think about ways to connect with all parents to establish strong communication and trust. Ways to invite and create authentic relationships through parent engagement. One way to do this, is to send home positive notes with each child. Something about a strength or something positive you noticed throughout the child's day or week. It's not just about saying , "Awesome day" or "Terrific". It's about really noticing the child and sharing what you notice with families.
