How you think the dialogue will help resolve the conflict
Conflict resolution is a process in which those involved commit to listening, reflecting, and questioning with a curious mindset to seek an understanding. A resolution dialogue has the purpose of resolving the conflict through dialogue. That being said, suspending judgments and assumptions is essential in establishing a flow of meaning and finding shared meaning with dialogue between the two conflicted participants. In doing so, I will provide a safe environment for this dialogue to occur, developing a common base of knowledge, both conceptual and personal, by explaining policy and assumptions being made, which requires that suspension of judgment. Additionally, I will explore questions and conflict by focusing on one or more specific matters with a view to probing and deepening the dialogue. Lastly, I'll be moving from dialogue to action by assessing the experiences arising from the dialogue learning from these and embedding the learning in the form of new skills and communicating together, reaching a decision, and resolving the conflict.
