A person is taking Betaine HCL to normalize stomach acidity as a treatment for Irratable Bowel Syndrome. That person takes HCL 30-45 minutes after every meal at an increasing dose every time until a comfortable dosage is found. Would it benefit this process to take potassium citrate along with the HCL, or are there no implications of negative drug interaction?
