There are a lot of issues with getting children vaccinated but the main person who should decided about who should say that their child/ren get the shots that are needed. Government agencies should not have the option of denying the teenagers the HPV vaccine because they still have to have their parents say what they are allowed to get and what they aren't allowed to get unless they are 18 years old or the teenage is its own guardian. There's a lot of teen girls who are getting cervical cancer and teen boys are getting genital warts. To prevent cervical cancer you should be updated on your vaccinations, get Pap test, have safe sex, etc..

There is a lot of debates about the need to vaccinate children. People get even more upset when it comes to the government making those decisions for them. When it came out that children in school must get vaccinated, people got out of hand hating that the government made that decision. When it comes to a vaccine that could help prevent the chance of cervical cancer, I do not believe that is a choice to be made by the government and left up to the parents of the children. Regardless of their age, if they are a minor I believe their parents have the right to make the decision about that vaccine. The government making the decision about children needing to be vaccinated to go to school makes sense so there is no spread of preventable diseases. Them deciding teenagers can not have a preventative vaccination to me is wrong and I know would start an uproar.
