For this assignment write a paper in which you respond to the following questions. Your responses should be properly cited and your paper should follow APA style guidelines.

1. Table 1.1 of your book (Palmer, Dunford, & Akin, 2008, p. 10) discusses a number of change lessons. (See attached) Which of those lessons were present in 2008 of the Desjardins case? Which of those lessons were present in 2012 for Desjardins? How does having that information affect how you would go about implementing organizational change for this company? (See Attached)

2. Chapter 2 of Palmer, et al (2008) discusses six change images. Which of these images does Monique Leroux hold? Does her image seem to change from 2008 to 2012? Would another image have been helpful in successfully implementing the initial changes she made? Why?

3. What were the internal and external pressures for change at Desjardins in 2012?

4. As you consider the need for change beginning in 2012, was a system or a group level of diagnosis needed? Based upon your answer, select an appropriate model and complete a diagnosis of Desjardins.

5. What implications for change managers would apply at Desjardins (cf. Palmer et al, 2008, p. 98)?

6. What forms of resistance to change do you see at Desjardins in 2012? If you were the change manager, how would you seek to manage the resistance to change?

7. Assume you are hired as an external change manager in 2012. Discuss the steps you would take to successfully implement change at Desjardins.
