The role of change management is crucial for an organizations interest as well as for the employees working in that organization. Whether it is to make changes in how an organization handles it's finances to how employees connect with each other.
Change management is the process used to manage employees during the changes an organization aspires to attain.
During the changing process some employees resist to change. It might be that the are used to working a certain way or working with certain people. Or simply not accepting change.
Change management is beneficial since this person comes in with fresh ideas, implementing new strategies or techniques that allow not only for an organization to grow but for employees to acquire these new strategies and techniques to enable them to be more productive as well as at times working less or even working under a more positive, less stressful, and pleasing environment.
For example, in the past I worked in a company where the Director of my department passed away. She had been with the company for years. So everyone did what she said. We were all used to working with her and anything she said we did. No questions asked just do it! After her death the company hired a new Director. She came to mind after reading about change management. This new Director came in with a completely different set of ideas, techniques, and strategies for us all to implement in our day to day duties. Making it in my opinion a more suitable approach for all of us to give it our best effort to accomplish our daily duties. However, there were a couple of employees who did not accept the change.
What is your opinion on the above?
