You are pitching your CSR idea to the CEO, CFO and shareholders of the chosen MNC. You will need to provide a brief overview of your MNC and the nnovative CSR initiative your team has created. In our text, Argenti (2016, p. 321) proposes implementing strategic CR initiatives via a four step model, outlined below, you will apply your CSR initiative to this model and end your presentation with a summary.
1. CR strategy definition: In the first step, a corporation decides where to focus its CR efforts, how to refine this to specific areas, and how to drive engagement at the top levels of the organization.
2. Driving internal change: The second step involves figuring out how to rally employees effectively to support these efforts and to institutionalize the focus into decision-making.
3. Partnering with external parties: The third step is deciding which external organizations to collaborate with, figuring out how to form agreements, determining how such partnerships will help, and identifying pitfalls to avoid.
4. Measuring and reacting: The final step of the process is developing a robust system for monitoring performance and determining how to leverage positive results and adapt when targets are not met.
