Browse through the telephone directory for your area and try to determine which types of businesses would use a job order costing system. Call several businesses and talk to the accountants about the systems. Ask if you can have a copy of a job cost sheet and compare it to the one in the text. In the event that you project an excess of expenditures over inflows, what alternatives do you have to cover your outflows? How can you increase your inflows?
