1. Write a concise email (use appropriate formatting) to your boss persuading her to implement your cost-saving plan for the department.
2. Write a concise email (use appropriate formatting) to your peer persuading him to make a presentation to a long-standing client of the company, because you have been called out of town on a personal matter. Your peer would be doing you a huge favor, otherwise, you will have to reschedule the presentation and you don't want to do that.
3. Write an email to a client who received the wrong order and called you to complain. After your investigation, you find that you entered the wrong order number when you placed the order. However, when you call the company to determine how to resolve the issue, you find that the original product has been discontinued. Analyze the situation, and then compose an email to rectify the situation. Make sure the email is in final form, ready to send to your client. You do not want to lose this client.
