There are five primary difficulties that are faced by children living in poverty:
1. A lack of availability to good educational opportunities
2. Inability to get sufficient amounts of nourishing food
3. Inadequate access to high-quality medical treatments
4. An inability to get housing that is both secure and reliable
5. Inability to get enough social and psychological assistance
Here are five different approaches that we might use to make a difference in the lives of our students:
1. Be an advocate for fair financing for our educational institutions.
2. Work together with other community organizations to provide the community with resources and assistance
3. Instruct pupils in social and emotional skills in order to assist them in coping with the effects of stress and traumatic experiences.
