Assessment Task: Project 8- Establish Processes for Early Intervention and Problem Solving

TASK SUMMARY:
This task will require you to establish process for early intervention and problem solving, communicate and implement the processes.

Use your workplace/organisation's template to complete this task, or use the ER and IR Processes template provided at the Bounce Fitness site.
Part A: Establish Processes for Early Intervention
To complete this task, you must:
• Access and review the following:
o Organisation's policies and procedures for establishing organisational processes
o Awards applicable to the organisation
o Agreements applicable to the organisation
o Legislations relevant to ER and IR
• Establish at least two processes for early intervention
Problem solving process can be conflict management process, negotiation process or dispute resolution process.

Part B: Implement the Processes to Identify Problems and Grievances
To complete this task you must:
• Implement the early intervention process to identify at least two problems and at least two grievances of organisation's employees relevant to ER and IR.
At least one of the identified problem or grievance must have a conflict associated with it

Identify at least two ER and IR problem solving processes to resolve the above conflict

Part C: Manage Problems and Grievances
To complete this task you must:
• Communicate identified problem-solving processes to relevant stakeholders. During this discussion they must:
Relevant stakeholders refer to senior individuals with skills of problem solving and mediation, who can resolve the identified problems and grievances.
o Obtain support on the problem-solving processes
o Ensure established processes are fair and equitable
o Ensure established processes are according to relevant awards agreements and legislation
o Ensure problem solving processes provide for external mediation and conciliation, and arbitration, where required
• Ensure that the problems and grievances are managed.

• Completed ER and IR problem solving processes
• Evidence of establishing and implementation of the processes to identify problems and grievances
• Evidence of managing problems and grievances in consultation with stakeholders. Evidence must be at least one of the following:
• Email correspondence
• Meeting minutes
• Video recording of the meeting conducted with the stakeholders
When using this as evidence, ensure to inform the relevant stakeholders of the purpose of the recording before doing so.
Include any supplementary documents and sources used to complete the task, such as:
• Organisation's policies and procedures for establishing organisational processes
• Awards applicable to the organisation
• Agreements applicable to the organisation
