Implement an employee dress code program

You are the operations supervisor at a nursing home, and you just received a complaint from a patient's family member. When trying to obtain help for her father, the family member couldn't tell the housekeeping staff from the nurses because everyone wears the same blue scrubs. This in not the first time you have read a comment like this. You decide it is time to take action by establishing a dress code for all staff. You are aware there may be some push back from the staff, but if you provide each employee with at least one set of color-coded scrubs (short or long sleeve) the dress code transition may be easier. Scrubs cost between $35-$50 per set and you have 50 employees that will need uniforms.

Make a memo addressed to the nursing home regional director on the choice to implement an employee dress code program that will be fully implemented by the start of the third quarter (Q3). This memo will discuss the rational, benefits, costs, and time frame involved in executing the new dress code policy. Be sure to address the audience properly (a manager at your company audience), and write to them as a concerned executive. You may also draw from your personal work experience with appropriate examples to support your references.
