Impementing financial management apporoaches
Your budget has now been negotiated and confirmed to be $2,700,000. It is time now to disseminate the details of the agreed budget/financial plans to your team members.
When planning for your meeting you will need to ensure that you review the observation checklist which highlights certain aspects that your assessor needs to observe.
The meeting will be conducted in class.
For online students, run and record a meeting at work or in a similar environment such as a community organisation. Please note you are recording yourself, not the other meeting participants. Refer to Appendix 1 - Video and Audio Upload Instructions.
In this task you will meet with your team for 5-10 minutes for the purpose of:
- Clarifying the budget and providing the details.
- Provide support to your team to ensure that they can competently perform the required roles associated with the management of finances
- Determine and access resources and systemsto manage financial management processes within your team
You will need a minimum of three participants to act as your work team.
If you are completing in class, you will assign the meeting participant roles to class members.
If you are completing online, you will need to arrange for people to act as your meeting participants.
Meeting participants:
You: Sales manager - Meeting with your team for the purposes outlined above
Student 1: Sales person (team member) Is responsible for achieving a third of the budget - $900,000
Student 2: Sales person (team member) Is responsible for achieving a third of the budget - $900,000
