Dilemma One.
A conflict between good practice and demands of the institution for which you work;
Educator believes his or her own teaching style is after the good practice. Experiences are more important than the rules that school requires. They don't believe all the rules are useful.
I-1.1- To be familiar with the knowledge base of early childhood care and education and to stay informed through continuing education and training.
P-4.6- We shall be familiar with laws and regulations that serve to protect the children in our programs and be vigilant in ensuring that these laws and regulations are followed.
Dilemma Two.
A conflict between workers, due to differences in training, profession, job responsibility, or approach to clients; workers may be from within the same setting or from different settings;
An educator in our school spends less time on responding children after class and has fewer activities with the children. Then the children will go find other worker getting help.
P-3A.2-When we have concerns about the professional behavior of a co-worker, we shall first let that person know of our concern in a way that shows respect for personal dignity and for the diversity to be found among staff members, and then attempt to resolve the matter collegially and a confidential manner.
P-3B.5-When we have a concern about circumstances or conditions that impact the quality of care and education within the program, we shall inform the program's administration or, when necessary, other appropriate authorities.
Dilemma three.
A conflict between workers and family members of children' educating.
A teacher of my friend's kid is warm-heart. She cares about the children every single part and record problem and solution. Then she will give call to parents and tell them the problems and also the solutions.
I-2.4-To listen to families, acknowledge and build upon their strengths and competencies, and learn from families as we support them in their task of nurturing children.
I-2.5-To respect the dignity and preferences of each family and to make an effort to learn about its structure, culture, language, customs, and beliefs to ensure a culturally consistent environment for all children and families.
