Question: You are to write a 8-10 page paper about the impact of the media on a specific society. You will also complete an 7-9 minute presentation on the same topic, uploaded on ppt, Keynote or other media tool(s) of your choice. You are to choose one or more media artifacts to analyze (possibly 2-3 advertisements, videos, newscasts, Facebook posts, etc...). Remember, you must apply one of the communication/media theories from the theories module. Be sure to utilize a minimum of 6 peer-reviewed sources.

Your final paper/presentation asks you to:

Choose one or more media artifacts to analyze (advertisements, videos, newscasts, Facebook posts, etc...) and using these artifacts, write a 8-10 page paper about the impact of the media on a specific culture/society.

Make sure your paper supports a central thesis.

Use one of the communication/media theories reviewed in class over the course of the semester to support that thesis.
