Task details: Write a report describing the following:
Question 1. How Jeff Bezos influences people, organisations and the environment to achieve organisational goals.
Question 2. The impact of technology on Jeff Bezos' organisation.
Question 3. How Jeff Bezos and his managers set goals and manage change.
Question 4. The responsibility of Jeff Bezos and his managers for sustainability and organisational culture.
To successfully complete the assessment, students must explain in depth and within the permitted word limit (1500 words (+/-) 10%) the stated questions. This requires undertaking quality research (peer reviewed articles (most important)) to achieve high marks. Research is considered appropriate when each student completes the work by using a minimum of four (4) peer-reviewed journal articles. This means that the group report must have a minimum of sixteen (16) peer reviewed articles. Students should however attempt to exceed the minimum
expected research to maximise their assessment outcome.
The project report must include at least the following sections:
o Cover page
o Executive summary
o Table of contents
o Introduction
o Task 1
o Task 2
o Task 3
o Task 4
o Conclusion
o References
Presentation: Pitch your work in a 10 minutes group presentation to be conducted in week 11. Details about the presentation is shown below:
- The presentation must be supported by appropriate visual aids.
- A minimum of 5 slides and a maximum of 7 slides is allowed.
- All group members are required to present.
- Optimise the oral presentation grade by not simply reading the written report but also presenting conclusions drawn from the analysis.
- Demonstrate positive verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
NB: Please note that students will be asked to evaluate the work of fellow team members. Team members who fail to equally contribute to the assessment will receive a mark reduction.
It is expected that students familiarise themselves with the relevant theory and build a bridge between theory and the application in practice.
