Research Aim and Objectives
The proposed research study aims to investigate the impact of leadership on the performance of employees in Saudi public-sector universities. The specific objectives of the study are as follows:
(1) To explore the characteristics of leadership needed in the Saudi university context to increase employee job performance
(2) To explore the human skills needed by leaders in Saudi Public-sector universities to increase the performance of employees; and
(3) To provide recommendations on how leadership approach can be used in public-sector universities to increase employee performance.
Research Question 1: Is there a significant relationship between leadership characteristics and employee's performance?
Research Question 2: what is the degree of influence of the relationship between leadership characteristics and employee performance?
