Task description: In this assessment, you will write a research paper report that critically examines the adoption of AI in business. Task details

Task 1: Conduct a comprehensive literature review on the current state of AI in business across various industries, such as healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing. Your review should explore how AI is being adopted, the trends driving its implementation, and the differences across industries.

Task 2: Identify and critically summarise at least five key articles or case studies that demonstrate the impact of AI on business operations. Your summaries should highlight the practical applications of AI and the outcomes achieved.

Task 3: Analyse the potential benefits of AI implementation in business processes, focusing on areas such as efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced decision-making. Provide evidence from the literature to support your analysis.

Task 4: Identify and discuss the challenges businesses encounter when adopting AI, including technical, financial, and organisational barriers. Your discussion should be grounded in relevant research and industry examples.

Task 5: Explore potential strategies or solutions to mitigate the challenges of AI adoption, with a particular focus on the ethical use of AI and AI governance. Summarise insights from at least five key articles on AI ethics and governance, and discuss how these can guide responsible AI implementation.

You are required to write a research paper, not exceeding 3,200 words (excluding 100 words of AI assistance description, references, and appendices), that synthesizes your analysis and findings from Tasks 1-5.
