Mrs. Wells once did an experiment to determine the force with which she could throw a softball. The softball was accelerated in a straight line from point A to point B, which was a distance of 1.45 m. The mass of the ball was 0.142 kg, and the ball left her hand at point B, which was 1.8 meters above the ground, at an angle of 48 degrees above the horontizal. From point B, the ball was in the air 2.0 seconds and traveled a horizontial distance of 16.2 meters before hitting the ground.

With what velocity did the ball leave her hand at point B?

What was the acceleration of the ball while in her hand?

What was teh average force she exerted on the ball while accelerating in?
