Q. subsequent represents a process used to assemble a chair with an upholstered seat. Stations A, B and C make seat; stations J, K and L assemble chair frame; station X is where 2 subassemblies are brought together; and some final tasks are completed in stations Y and Z. 1 worker is assigned to each of stations. Generally re is no inventory kept anywhere in system, although re is room for 1 unit between each of stations that might be used for a brief amount of time. Given subsequent amount of work in seconds required at each station:

A - 38, B - 34, C - 35, J - 32, K -30, L - 34, X - 22, Y - 18, Z - 20

a) Illustrate what is possible daily output of this "process" if 8 hours of processing time is available each day?

b) Given your output in part a, illustrate what is efficiency of process?
