Q. A Southeast airline is a small commuter airline. Its ticket counter at 1 of its airports is staffed by a single ticket agent. There are 2 separate lines-1 for first class passengers and 1 for coach- class passengers. When agent is ready for another customer, next first class passenger is served if y is any in line. If not, next coach class passenger is served. Service time has exp1ntial distribution with a mean of 3 minute for both types of customers. During 12 hours per day that ticket counter is open; passengers arrive randomly at a mean rate 2 per hour for first class and 10 per hour for coach class passengers.
