Introduction

This is a student reseach project, that is not funded by anyone. Practice literature and modelling literature provided as a guide to the modelling problem. Using Anylogic, Vensim or Stella for the project will be preferred.

Required:

1. From the available literature and operational manual, itemise the process of implementing Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) device implant in a hospital environment, from pre- to post-implant implementation operations.

2. Illustrate the core components in a flow diagram.

3. Use causal loop diagrams to illustrate the diverse interactions among service points and agents during the implementation operations.

4. Construct systems dynamics model, as stock and flows(including equations, where applicable) showing how implementation decisions by agents affect healthcare resources along the implementation trajectory.
