In a language of your own choosing, write a computer program that implements the Restoring Twos Complement Division process. In addition to program source code, provide screenshots showing the deliverables identified below. Use 8 bits for all registers.
Deliverables
1. Provide an output that shows your input decimal values.
2. Provide an output that shows the initial values in registers A, Q, and M.
3. Demonstrate that your program works in the following cases by showing the output in registers A and Q after the final cycle and the final value in sign/magnitude for positive numbers and 2s complement negative numbers:
a. divide two positive numbers with no remainder
b. divide two positive numbers with a remainder
c. divide two negative numbers
d. divide a positive number by a negative number
e. divide a negative number by a positive number with a remainder
4. Show the output of your result in decimal format yRx where y is the integer value and x is the remainder value. e.g. 4R0 would be 4 with a remainder of 0, 4R2 would be 4 with a remainder of 2.
5. Provide a Word document that explains how your program incorporates the Restoring Twos Complement Division algorithm. Ensure you explain how you incorporated the iterative process and determined when the table for your solution was completed. You can incorporate your outputs into this document; however, you must identify where in your source code you print the results. Include in your word document a good explanation of your program and your approach. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of your program. Include screenshots as appropriate in your discussion.
6. Provide a copy of your source code and your language of choice.
