Supose you have one mole of an ideal gas T1=300k in a container and you want to compress it isothermally by a constant external pressure (Pext). The end of the compression process is achieved when P2=Pext. This, tehn, is a irreversible process. The initial and final volumes are V1=25L and V2=10L, repectively. If the temperature of the surroundings is 300K, then calculate dSsurr, dSsys, and dStotal in units J/K. Prove that a decrease in the entropy change of the universe will never be obseve because dStotal=>0.
