A team of experts is examining the reliability of lie dector tests. To determine the probability that a lie detector test is correct, a lie detector test is given to a group of students. Unknown to the experts, 80% of the students are to to be truthful and 20% are told to lie occasionally. At the conclusion od the test, the experts judged 85% of the truthful students as truthful and 60% of the liars as liars.
