Research Paper
PART A
Thesis: Statement of the position you are going to take in your research topic and the subtopics that focuses your research (what is it that you specifically want to find out about the topic?). Make sure it is relevant, academic and the research can be applied in Management practice. You must create an expanded thesis which is presented as: Your position + three supporting themes you will discuss to support your position. For example, if my general topic is parental leave policies in business; then an expanded thesis demonstrating my narrowed position with subtopics could be: "Fathers should always choose to take parental leave because it (1) enhances the bonding process between both parents and children, (2) allows men to shift their focus to work-family balance, (3) and allows women the opportunity to also balance work and family.
