Question 1. Depression is a global burden, so it is critical to identify and implement effective strategies for its prevention and treatment. The problem identified is the missed opportunity to screen for depression, leading to undertreatment. The focus is the practice question: Does implementing a depression education module increase the clinician's knowledge of identifying and treating depression in primary care settings? What changes may be implemented? Does evidence support these changes?

Question 2, Defining the Practice Focused Question

We set out to answer, "Does providing nursing staff in an outpatient psychiatric clinic with education on psychiatric mental health management increase their knowledge and perceived self-efficacy in this practice area?" However, as we continued our investigation and discussion, we concluded that this question required modification to ensure its specificity and efficacy. The question has been honed: " Does monthly workshops on the latest psychiatric treatment modalities to nursing staff in our outpatient psychiatric clinic increase their knowledge and perceived self-efficacy in implementing evidence-based interventions for schizophrenia patients over six months?" With this improvement, we can zero in on where we need to study or intervene (Sipes, 2020).What changes might you consider in addressing the problem? Are these changes supported by evidence?
