ASSIGNMENT PROMPT

We can't really begin to draw conclusion and make decisions until we are clear of our automatic thinking and can see the whole picture.

Most of the time when faced with a problem or goal, we jump immediate into solution mode without getting clear about the problem, the people that are really involved and our preconceived opinions of how it is to be solved. This week we will work on gaining clarity in order to think critically about the problem/goal.

As you read section 2 of Think Smarter (pages 21-82 SEE EBOOK), you should have been taking note of the exercises that were of specific interest and meaning for you.

There should be at least an exercise from 4 different chapters that you apply to your selected Problem or Goal from week 1's list.

For this Discussion Post, share which exercises you tried and if they assisted you in gaining clarity. Look at your initial thoughts about the problem you selected honestly and see if you can identify your preconceived ideas about the problem or solution and how they may have changed after working with Section 2 of the text.

This is a reflection post, so I do not expect additional research, however you will need to cite the text as your source, It should be written in first-person as an account of your experiences and self awareness.

Expected length -- 800 -1000 words.

Note about formating:

Use FIRST-PERSON. Follow APA for citation and referencing. It should be free of grammar and spelling errors. NO PLAGIARISM is allowed, as this assignment will be submitted through an online database that checks for originality. Plagiarism will result in an immediate ZERO.
