A 5 to 6 Page paper explaining how technological advances in agriculture and growing trade routes created the distinctive culture found in the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Near East, India, and Ancient China. Ensure the following points are addressed:

Discuss the major technological advances in our textbook reading and to which society they can be traced.
Detail the major trade routes established.
Identify which cultures utilized specific trade routes.
Show how the advances in agriculture and trade influenced specific civilizations.
Detail one major city in each of the civilizations mentioned above.
Explain why you believe society was moving toward cities as opposed to the previous nomadic and/or rural living.
