Case: FBA or FA: that's the question? Some people argue that functional analysis is the gold standard and should be used whenever problem behavior emerges. Others argue that, although it is methodologically rigorous, it has many limitations and its use should be limited. At the extreme, people argue that functional analysis is unethical. Based on the readings and presentation, identify what you liked/did not like about the Hastings article. Provide an opinion about the ethical concerns the author raised. Discuss a point you thought was particularly relevant as a practitioner or therapist. Provide examples to support your argument.
