Discussion Post: Implementation Plan
An implementation plan is similar to a business plan in the entrepreneur's world. Sixty percent of companies without a business plan will fail. Think of your proposal as your business plan.
You will need to identify the design you will use (use EBP terms and NOT research terms (i.e. use the word project, NOT study, study is a research term).
You will also need to identify how you will select your sample, data collection (tools?), data analysis, any ethical considerations, and how will you disseminate your findings at local, national, and even international levels (i.e. what conferences would you present to based on your topic, what journals would you submit your project to based on your specific topic?).
Very Important:
Just like a business plan, it is important to identify what challenges you might have and how will you deal with them. For the proposal, you will need think about how you will strengthen the reliability and validity of your method, sampling, and study results (statistical tests if applicable). How will you avoid or deal with confounding factors? I encourage you to review your content from 508 in Polit & Beck when identifying ways to strengthen you project
